Practice Guidelines of Nida Esth’ Medical Center

to monitor and prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Practice Guidelines for Service Providers1.    A screening point will be located at the entrance door separately from other areas.

  1. The body temperature of patients will be examined and should not exceed 37.3C and stickers for individuals who complete the assessment will be prepared.
  2. Alcohol gel sanitizers will be arranged at the screening point and all areas where physical contacts may occur. There will also be information, knowledge, and recommendation facts about the prevention of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
  3. Preliminary health assessment and travel history forms shall be prepared to evaluate potential risks.
  4. Service providers shall maintain the standards for locations, safety, and services as permitted.
  5. Medical personnel, including all service personnel, will be wearing masks, face shields, gloves and self-protection devices while providing services and will be attentive during the time of being in contact with patients.
  6. A waiting area will be arranged, with a distance of 1.5 - 2 meters each and clearly distinguished between patients and accompanying persons.
  7. Payment methods will be organized safely by building a barrier between service providers and patients to reduce the chances of being in contact during conversations.
  8. Sterile slippers will be prepared for all patients before the service commencement.
  9. All appointments shall be made in advance with our medical personnel only. Moreover, a room in each floor will be prepared for each individual patient. Non-appointed patients shall not be allowed at any circumstances.
  10. During consultations, only one doctor and one nurse will be assisting one patient without fail.
  11. Medical personnel should wash their hands, clean their body and tie their hair properly. Long nails and all kinds of jewelries are prohibited.
  12. Cleaning before opening and closing time will be done daily with standardized disinfectants.
  13. Surfaces of the areas inside the clinic will be sanitized by alcohol sanitizer every 1 hour.
  14. Drinking water as separate bottles and appetizers with sachets will be served to prevent the spread of the infection.
  15. The service location will be prepared in a proper ventilation condition.
  16. Correct measures of infectious waste separation will be established among every personnel.

Practice Guidelines for Patients​​​​​​​

  1. Patients shall cooperate with body temperature measurements and complete initial health assessment and travel history forms by providing true and accurate information before receiving our services.
  2. Stickers will be attached to patients after screening completion throughout the period of being in the clinic.
  3. Patients shall wash their hands with alcohol gel sanitizers before every service.
  4. The measures and recommendations of service providers must be strictly followed to help reduce the risks of the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
  5. Masks must be worn at all time during consultations and treatments at the clinic.
  6. Accompanying persons must be in the waiting area and strictly abide by the clinic’s measures and recommendations.

Initial Measures before Entering Nida Esth’ Clinic

Due to the COVID-19 situation that is still spreading in Thailand, Nida Esth’ Clinic, therefore, is concerned about the safety and welfare of all patients. As a consequence, we have set a policy for preliminary screening for all visitors and patients to evaluate initial risk as well as to help reduce the transmission of the new coronavirus. We then have divided our visitors as in 6 categories as follows.
